Matt Barnes, former NBA player and Sacramento native, organized a rally for Stephon Clark and announced that he is starting a college scholarship fund in the name of Clark to provide scholarship money for Clark’s two sons who have lost their father.
“The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) and Zoetis recently announced the awarding of $630,000 in scholarship funds through the Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholarship Program for 2018. Now in its ninth year, the program awarded scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to 315 second- and third-year veterinary students representing 33 colleges of veterinary medicine.”
In 2018 the Taco Bell Live Mas Scholarship will reward $3,000,000! The scholarship’s Website says:

County officials announced that their cannabis-funded college scholarship has tripled in funding since it began in 2015, making it possible for a record amount of Pueblo students to go to college.”
