Korean American Scholarship Foundation

KASF scholarships (which range from $500 to $5,000) are offered to the qualified Korean American students (including foreign students from Korea). All applicants must be enrolled in a full time program in the U.S during the scholarship application year. Qualifications for Scholarship Eligibility:

  1. Will be a full time student at a school in one of the designated Eastern region states (Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia) during the 2019-20 school year.
  2. Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Can demonstrate need for financial assistance.

Adrian Rubin Scholarship

The Adrian Rubin Scholarship was created with our future leaders (current students) in mind. Over the years college has not only become increasingly necessary but also expensive. The Adrian Rubin $1200 Scholarship serves the purpose of being able to help one student each year get closer to their goal of achieving their dream career without having to rack up thousands of dollars in debt to do so.

  • Current high school seniors who have been accepted into a college and will enroll in 2019
  • Student’s currently in college, but haven’t reached their final year yet

N.C. NCSU Balanced Man Scholarship

The NC State chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity is offering 4 one-time scholarships in the amounts of $1,000, $500, $150 and $100 to incoming freshmen men for the 2019 academic year. SigEp is a leadership organization that will award over $225,000 at 180 campuses across the country through the Balanced Man Scholarship this year. Their mission is to Build Balanced Men and their goal is to reward men who exemplify the qualities of a Sound Mind and a Sound Body, as they  believe those are two ideals essential to leading a balanced life. To qualify for the Balanced Man Scholarship, incoming male students must submit an application by July 5th, 2019 and enroll full-time at NC State for the Fall 2019 term. Applicants have no obligation to join or affiliate with SigEp to be eligible for the scholarship.

American Legion Baseball Scholarship

The American Legion awards $22,000 in scholarships to deserving players. Each Department Baseball Committee may select a player from their Department to receive this scholarship. The American Legion will award several scholarships this year depending on the number of applicants and interest earned from the trust fund.  Department Baseball Scholarship Winners receive $500. Each certified Department Baseball scholarship winner shall be considered for The American Legion All-Academic Team sponsored by Diamond Sports, annually. Eight players selected by a scholarship selection committee at The American Legion World Series will receive an additional $2,500 scholarship. Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship

Scholarship Award: $1,000

The Gen and Kelly Tanabe Scholarship is a merit-based program that helps students fulfill their dreams of a higher education. The scholarship is named for Gen and Kelly Tanabe, best-selling authors on education, whose generous donations fund this program. Englander Peebles, Attorneys at Law Scholarship

The Englander Peebles law firm is offering a rewarding scholarship opportunity to students. As the number of distracting driving accidents is increasing, the prompt for the scholarship is “do you own a smartphone, how does it affect your daily activities, are you ever tempted to use the phone while you are driving? Students who would like to enter the contest must submit an essay or a video. The essay should be 600 words or less, a video should be 2 minutes or less. Fifth Month Scholarship
