SECCountry.com reported that:

“First-year coach Dan Mullen and his staff have a different approach to scholarship offers than the previous regime.

The last staff was selective about who they would pursue and when they would pursue them and did not offer as many players as other schools. The Gators only went after players they intended to sign.

There’s been a change in philosophy under Mullen & Co. They are much more aggressive when it comes to offers and already have made a few splashes on the recruiting trail.”
