N.C. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Scholarship

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. on January 16, 1920. The sorority was founded on the principles of scholarship, community service, sisterhood and finer womanhood. The Zeta Rho Zeta Graduate Chapter is one of many graduate chapters of the  beloved organization. This year the chapter will award a scholarship for $500. The scholarship application and the required documents must be submitted by the deadline via email only tozetarhozeta@gmail.com. Send a copy (cc) to yourself for verification of submission.

PURPOSE:

  • Provide scholarship to a female high school senior in Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover or Pender County

CRITERIA:

  • Demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum unweighted G.P.A. of 3.0
  • Provide an official transcript with an authorized signature
  • Acceptance to an accredited 4-yr. college/university for the upcoming year

N.C. American Indian Fund Scholarship

The North Carolina American Indian Fund Scholarship assists American Indian students across the state in obtaining higher education by providing scholarships to pursue a 2- or 4-year undergraduate degree as a full-time student.  Scholarships are valued at $1,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, for total awards up to $4,000. “The Association of American Veterinary Medical Colleges (AAVMC) and Zoetis recently announced the awarding of $630,000 in scholarship funds through the Zoetis Veterinary Student Scholarship Program for 2018. Now in its ninth year, the program awarded scholarships in the amount of $2,000 to 315 second- and third-year veterinary students representing 33 colleges of veterinary medicine.”

In 2018 the Taco Bell Live Mas Scholarship will reward $3,000,000! The scholarship’s Website says:

That’s right! The Live Más Scholarship is not based on your grades or how well you play sports. No essays, no test scores, no right or wrong answers. We’re looking for the next generation of innovators, creators and dreamers.

In 2018, the Taco Bell Foundation will be awarding $3 million in Live Más Scholarships. $1 million will be awarded through our new applicant program, $1.5 million through our renewal program for previous recipients, and $500,000 through our program for Taco Bell restaurant employees.”
