This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any post secondary institution. There is no age restriction Be sure to include your name and the school you are attending this year and next year. This is not an academic scholarship but we would like to know where you are going to school now and what your future academic plans are. Please do not send transcripts or letters of recommendation at this time. N.C. – North State Law Enforcement Officers Association Scholarship

One scholarship of $1000 dollars will be awarded to the top applicant and two (2) scholarships of $500 dollars each will be awarded to the top two additional applicants. Must be a resident of North Carolina. Grade point average must be 3.0 or better. Must major in some area of Criminal Justice or related field. Must supply copy of the Federal Student Aid Report. The student need criteria number will be considered. Scholarship check will be made payable to the institution in which the recipient will be attending. The number of siblings in the family will be considered and if any are currently attending college. Student must be active in the community, church and/or school activities. The student must have no felony convictions or convictions of serious misdemeanors. The student must also have no pending criminal matters. The student must not have exceeded 24 years of age by the application deadline. The most recent official high school and or college transcripts must accompany each application, complete with 4 references and SAT scores.

National Organization of Professional Hispanic NRCS Employees

This year NOPHNRCSE will award a total of three $1,000.00 academic scholarships to qualified students that are pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or Natural Resources Conservation related field of study at an accredited school of higher education. Student Eligibility Requirements: • Be US Citizen and show proof of U.S. citizenship – copy of Birth Certificate or Naturalization Certificate. This will only be required if the application is selected as a winner. • Graduating High School students accepted to an accredited college or university and registered students with at least one full academic year remaining before completing undergraduate education. Demonstrate integrity, ability, and competence in work. Graduate students are not eligible for this scholarship. • Show interest in pursuing a career in Natural Resources Conservation • Have a grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale

N.C. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Scholarship

Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. on January 16, 1920. The sorority was founded on the principles of scholarship, community service, sisterhood and finer womanhood. The Zeta Rho Zeta Graduate Chapter is one of many graduate chapters of the  beloved organization. This year the chapter will award a scholarship for $500. The scholarship application and the required documents must be submitted by the deadline via email only tozetarhozeta@gmail.com. Send a copy (cc) to yourself for verification of submission.

PURPOSE:

  • Provide scholarship to a female high school senior in Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover or Pender County

CRITERIA:

  • Demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum unweighted G.P.A. of 3.0
  • Provide an official transcript with an authorized signature
  • Acceptance to an accredited 4-yr. college/university for the upcoming year

The North Carolina American Indian Fund Scholarship assists American Indian students across the state in obtaining higher education by providing scholarships to pursue a 2- or 4-year undergraduate degree as a full-time student.  Scholarships are valued at $1,000 per year, renewable for up to four years, for total awards up to $4,000.
